Why should you switch to AT&T or not

Finding the perfect mobile carrier isn’t easy and that’s probably because none of them are truly perfect. During this past year, I’ve continued switching and testing many of the top carriers in my area. Now, after several missed calls and headaches, I think I found the best carrier for you.

Today I'm comparing Sprint and AT&T. Look. I get it. You probably think you already know who is better, and you might be right. BUT i’m just trying to answer questions that anyone and everyone might have. And FUN FACT this Sprint VS AT&T video is my last video comparing ALL the major carriers against each other. So I really have to make it, regardless of the haters. Switch to at&t deals without paying.

AT&T compare data plan

To compare data speeds and data consistency we’re turning to Ookla who tested over 4.1 billion devices in order to find the fastest the best carrier speeds. They found that AT&T is faster than T-Mobile with an average data speed of 32.91 Mbps compared to T-Mobile who came in second at 30.95 Mbps. HOWEVER T-Mobile just BARELY beat out AT&T for data consistency. Ookla found T-Mobile users report 86.9% consistency where AT&T users report 85.9% consistency so we’re calling this one a tie and giving a gold star to both carriers.

It's a pretty simple and straightforward process, however be aware when you do this with an "Unlocked" phone with AT&T you do lose some features. One of those being the "Wifi Calling". AT&T switch plans

These plans are AT&T's response to T-Mobile's awesome new deals. Are these new Mobile Share plans any good?  Is the long-term cost worth it?  Should you switch if you're on an old AT&T plan? The quick answer is YES. If you're on an old AT&T family plan, you should  make the switch.

AT&T's new Next Plan which allows you to make monthly payments toward the cost of your next phone.  I consider it more of a blessing because in the long run, you're paying about the same amount  and you can upgrade your phone annually instead of every other year.  Additionally, you don't have to pay a "down payment" for the new phone.

Final verdict

If you're an existing AT&T customer and you keep your old phone for a couple years, your costs will be significantly lower than you're used to paying.  On top of that, if you're a real miser, you can buy a "last-year's" model off ebay or Craigslist and continue saving a nice bundle of money each month.
